The producer was J.J. Abrams (Lost), so that's gonna be good!
The movie started, and there's flashes of different scenes, taken from some handy-cam, and it made me confuse. I thought it was just an intro. Then there were scenes of some boring party moments, people giving testimonials about the person that's party was being held (later i knew that he's going to leave NYC).
And yeah, the pictures still showed from 3rd person camera angle, my god it's going to be confusing and dizzy and i hate that..
but then, the story goes, and guess what? It's really more thriller than sci-fi, scary and played in real time, i felt as if i was there. Scary, and felt so real. And i like it!
Though i hate the ending, but for me it's a very realistic movie, and the ending was just perfect for the plot. It's not from some super-saviours trying-to-save-the-day-point of view, but just some regular kids that stucked in horrifiying monster attacks. They're just everyday people, like us.
And for the monster, it's very almighty :p like cannot be killed..
The minus point: i just hate that rob and beth character, stupid stupid!
